Office: Minority Leader Donna Lasinski

Description: This is a full-time position in the office of the Democratic Leader Donna Lasinski. This position requires the individual to perform management, legislative and strategic duties.  The individual will report to the Chief of Staff and will oversee daily operations within the Leader’s office. Primary responsibilities include developing strategy and providing direct support for frontline members, communicating with members and member staff, running weekly meetings for all staff and serving as a liaison to external groups on behalf of the Leader. Additional responsibilities include managing Leadership and Political Appointments and duties as assigned.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience; range $65,000 - $85,000

Minimum Qualifications: The applicant must be able to think strategically with a strong legislative background. The applicant must be professional, resourceful, and possess strong organizational, problem-solving and administrative skills. The applicant must possess a demonstrated commitment to meeting a high bar, consistent deadlines, and history of success in a self-led, high-intensity legislative environment. A Bachelors degree is preferred. Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills. Requires proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to learn other software applications as necessary. Applicant must also be independent and self-motivated, details oriented, assuming responsibility without direct supervision or direction in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
