Description: This is a full-time position for a Democratic State Representative’s office. 

This position requires the following:

  • Perform legislative and constituent duties
  • Research and track legislation
  • Prepare materials for legislative committees
  • Attend session and district events
  • Establish and maintain positive constituent relations
  • Strong analytical written and communication skills
  • Office management expertise
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Occasional travel to the district

Salary Range: Negotiable

Minimum Qualifications: The applicant must be dependable, self-motivated, professional, and detail oriented. Strong administrative, organizational, and clerical skills are required.  The individual must have government experience with an expertise in state issues.  Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree.
