Application Development Specialist

Office: Information Systems Department

Description: The Application Development Specialist is a member of the Information Systems Department for the Michigan House of Representatives.  Responsibilities include development of new applications, maintenance of existing applications and application design.  Our development environment consists of both desktop and web-based applications including these technologies:  .Net framework (C# & Visual Basic), JavaScript, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and GIT.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience

Minimum Qualifications: Thorough knowledge of complex application design is required.   A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.  Experience in applications development, including system design, coding, and testing required.
